It’s only two days to go to S. Valentine’s. Today, in preparation for the day, dog charity All Dogs Matter held its traditional Valentines Dog Walk, starting at the Garden Gate pub in Hampstead. Despite the foggy and damp weather, the Walk attracted a crowd of pooches, some of which dressed up in Valentine’s themed attire.
The Valentines Walk
During the Walk you could easily tell which dogs were having the greatest time from the thickness of the mud deposited on their legs and the height of the “mud line”. I bet that it turned to be bath day for more than a few, once back home!
Also a few dogs in search for adoption with All Dogs Matter joined the walk, like this mastiff cross beauty, Juliet.
Adorable Elvis the dachshound cast a spell on many walkers, and pooches as well.
The funniest chap of the day was Rocky the English bulldog, who tried to uproot almost any tree he could find on the path. These are a some pics of him intent in pursuing his serious mission (and these are just a few!).
The Garden Gate’s Fete
Back at the Garden Gate, apart from some rest and many cuddles, it was time for All Dogs Matter’s raffle and some love cupcakes!

I have a 3year old beagle who would love to attend the beagle bonanza, can you please ket me know the next date the event will take place? I was told by another beagle owner it was the first sunday of every month but i cannot find details.
Hi Geoffrey, many thanks for your message. It is correct that the Beagle Bonanza is normally held during the first weekend of every month (on the Saturday, between 12.30 and 14.30). Elmtree Training & Education Centre usually confirms the date a couple of weeks before the event. I am in touch with them and will be adding all information to the Dog Events Calendar as well as share it on The Londog’s Facebook page. I hope this is of help for now, and hope to provide you with more information as soon as they are released.
