The Kennel Club Art Gallery Talk on Queen Alexandra will be held on 19 February 2019 at 1pm at the Kennel Club Clarges Street.
Frances Dimond was Curator of the Royal Photograph Collection at Windsor Castle for 36 years, and during this time, among many other things, worked on Queen Alexandra’s albums and photographs. She wrote “Developing the Picture: Queen Alexandra and the Art of Photography” which was published in 2004, and is currently working on a full-length biography of Queen Alexandra.
The Kennel Club Art Gallery have two items on loan from the Royal Collection Trust featuring Queen Alexandra and her famous dogs photographed by Thomas Fall in the late 1890s. They are pleased to offer this lunch time talk with Frances Dimond who is considered the world expert on Queen Alexandra.
